Daily itinerary

Pickup & transfer to Cai Beo Harbor
We pick you up from your accommodation in Cat Ba Town and drive you down to Cai Beo Harbor — about 10 minutes through the eastern side of the island. Bring a light jacket; once the sun drops, the water gets cool quickly.
- 17:00 – 18:30
Sunset cruise through Cai Beo & Lan Ha Bay
We cruise out through Cai Beo, the last remaining floating fishing village in northern Vietnam, and continue into Lan Ha Bay as the sun sinks behind the karsts. There's time to swim off the side of the boat, share a drink, and meet your fellow paddlers before the light fades.

Vietnamese dinner onboard
We anchor in a quiet cove and serve a family-style dinner of traditional Vietnamese dishes — fresh seafood, rice, vegetables, and shared broths brought to the table together. After eating, you have time to rest on deck while the bay turns dark and the stars come out.
- 19:30 – 20:30
Night kayaking with bioluminescent plankton
Your guide leads you out into the dark water to spots with the densest plankton concentration. Every paddle stroke lights up in soft blue, and your hands trail glowing sparks through the water. Confident swimmers can jump in — your whole body becomes part of the light show.
- 20:30 – 21:00
Return to floating house & boat back
We paddle back to the floating house, dry off with the towels onboard, and re-board the boat for the cruise back to Beo Harbor under the moonlight. A quiet end to the most active part of the night.

Disembark & drop-off
Arrive back at the harbor, jump in our car, and we'll drive you back to your accommodation in town. The tour ends at your door.
