A small shared trip is not the same as a private charter. Tide & Tackle is listed as a shared local-boat experience with a maximum of ten guests. Private charters and full-day upgrades are quoted separately, so a group booking should not assume exclusive use.

When sharing makes sense

A shared departure can suit couples, friends or individual travellers who are comfortable following one guide's plan with other guests. Check availability for your chosen date and ask how the session is organised. “Maximum ten” describes capacity, not the number already confirmed or a promise of a nearly empty boat.

When to request a charter quote

Ask about private arrangements if your group needs exclusive use, a different duration or a particular pace. Specify the guest count, date, preferred session and the reason privacy matters. Request an explicit description of what changes from the shared product.

Compare the total group quotation, pickup area, meal and equipment inclusions. A private quote should not be assessed simply by multiplying a public per-person headline. Until availability and the itinerary are confirmed, keep the arrangement as a request rather than a booked departure.
